McLean Project for the Arts will open «Too Much of Too Much: Overstimulated, Overexposed, and Overextended» on June 14, 2018 in the Bullock | Hitt Gallery at [email protected] (1446 Chain Bridge Road, McLean). The Opening Exhibition Reception will be held Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm.

Juried by Independent Curator Laura Roulet, «Too Much of Too Much» features works by mid-Atlantic artists whose works explore the ideas of overstimulation, excessiveness and bombardment, be it through too much information, activity, expectation, or by any other means.

“The juror has chosen 17 artists who approach the concept of ‘Too Much of Too Much’ in many different ways,” said Nancy Sausser, MPA Exhibitions Director. “It’s fascinating to see the diversity of approaches to this timely and universal concern, and the resulting exhibit is surprisingly and unexpectedly calming.”

Too Much of Too Much features works by artists including:
• Julia Bloom
• Travis Childers
• Delna Dastur
• Kimberly DiNatale
• Ed Dolinger
• N.N. Dwyer
• Jacob Lahah
• Harry Mayer
• Ceci Cole McInturff
• Frank Phillips
• Judith Pratt
• Alberto Roblest
• Jean Sausele-Knodt
• Ann Stoddard
• Qin Tan
• Elizabeth Vorlicek
• Alice Whealin
