Nexus (aka JR) here, hoping you'll join me for a special one-night only screening of Spark: A Burning Man Story. This documentary was screened in Washington, DC almost exactly 5 years earlier, on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, the year I first went.
Get your tickets here: bit.ly/sparkabmstoryjune26
TICKETS WILL NOT be sold at the door.
Once again, I am using Tugg, Inc., a crowd-driven platform to present movies. And if you remember from last summer's screening of Taking My Parents to Burning Man, this event will only happen if the ticket threshold is reached; for this screening that magic number is 109.
And with Larry Harvey's recent passing, I wanted to re-present this film in memory of him, for other veteran Bur...ners to join me in honoring him as well as for Burgins to experience a part of my own formative experience in and introduction to our local (and global) Burning Man community.
So get your tickets before Friday June 15 to support this screening and see this film: bit.ly/sparkabmstoryjune26
Meetup at the theater's bar beginning at 6:30pm.
After the film, join me and other attendees in remembering Larry Harvey, and sharing any words, memories, or thoughts reflecting on our community's past as well as looking towards our future.
[Interested in presenting a screening of this film in your own region? I strongly recommend doing so through Tugg. It's easy and costs you nothing. Happy to answer any questions for anyone who might be interested.]
