The Georgetown University College Republicans are proud to host Ben Shapiro for a conversation on the state of free speech on college campuses in the United States. Mr. Shapiro is an American author, columnist, and radio talk show host who serves as editor-in-chief for The Daily Wire. Mr. Shapiro will speak to the Georgetown community about how he believes it is essential to promote and preserve constructive conversations on college campuses about the pressing issues of our time.
This event is open to Georgetown students, faculty, and invited guests. A valid GOCard is mandatory for entry and no bags will be allowed in the venue.
Mr. Shapiro believes that people should engage in productive discourse and debate and that college students should be exposed to opposing ideas, challenge them, and participate in dialogue across partisan lines.
