You’re Invited to the First Annual AOK Awards Dinner!
On Thursday, February 15th All Our Kids (AOK) will honor New York Times columnist and author David Brooks, musician and activist Citizen Cope and AOK Board Member Sara Pratt at our first annual AOK Awards Dinner at Sixth & I.
This will not be your typical awards dinner. If you’ve attended one of AOK’s Thursday Night Dinners, then you know what to expect: an evening of lively conversation over Kathy’s famous Spicy Chicken and other delicious, home-cooked dishes served family-style at long tables filled with people of all ages and backgrounds—including many of the young artists and college students AOK supports —joined together by AOK’s commitment to breaking down barriers and building longer tables of understanding and love in support of our young people.
Citizen Cope will play few songs after dinner, as will a couple of our young artists. Art by other young artists will be on display. And who knows what other surprise guests will show up to add even more spark to the evening!
We promise you’ll leave at the end of the evening feeling rejuvenated and energized by the tremendous potential of our young people and by being a part of the incredible community of people who’ve come together to support them.
We hope you’ll be able to join us.
A limited number of general admission tickets are available for $250 at brownpapertickets.com/event/3223590.
