To inspire your work in 2018 Black Power Chronicles is kicking off the year with a special Public Forum entitled: “The Legacy of Student Activism at Howard: A Dialogue with Veterans of NAG (Non-Violent Action Group) and Howard University Social Justice Activists”.

Our public forum is in collaboration with the Afro-American Studies Department at Howard University and the Kwame Ture Society.

This dynamic exchange will take place on Thursday, January 11, from 4-6 PM at Howard University Founders Library Browsing Room.

Panelists will include Charlie Cobb, Ekweme Michael Thelwell, Dion Diamond and Courtland Cox. Howard student panelists include Carmen Crusoe, Kwame Ture Society and Alexis Kennedy, HU Resist. A special presentation of NAG will be given by 18-year old NAG historian from New York, Nitsav Ben-Dan.
