He is definitely one of the most powerful vocalists to grace the stage today. André has been singing since the age of 5 but he really began to “sang” as a tenor in the Cardozo HS choir, his first group was named the Terrible Tenors, his first song, “Always and Forever” by Heatwave. André has performed with several local groups, notable; he was the last member of the high stepping, high energy group, The Choice Four, a legendary R&B group that hit it big in the 70’s out of Washington, DC. He later helped form the band, Sudden M Pac, an old school R&B band. When he's not throwing down with S.M.P. you can find him on the road with former lead singer of the Temptations, Glenn Leonard and his Temptations' Revue.
André has taken his musical experiences and developed, “Life is a song worth singing”, a tribute show paying homage to one of his idols, R&B’s legendary, Teddy Pendergrass.
