Are you interested in learning about displacement through the eyes of Latin American photojournalists?
Come and enjoy stories about displacement and notions of home in Argentina, Mexico, Ecuador, Brazil, Chile and Colombia.
Learn about photojournalists' ability to present serious development challenges with a sense of intimacy, vulnerability, and empathy on topics such as migration, and humanity’s impact on the environment as a direct consequence of displacement.
Our interactive exhibition will allow you to experience moments of external threats, such as water contamination, extensive mining, or violence and feel some of the psychological reasons involved in displacement processes.
This exhibition was created in partnership with World Press Photo and the Lightscape Foundation as part of the 2017 World Press Photo exhibition in Washington D.C. It features participants from their Latin American Masterclass. More info at: lightscapedc.org
