We're celebrating our 6th birthday with a big lineup at D.C.'s newest venue, Union Stage at Wharf DC!
// Featuring D.C.'s Finest //
SHAED has made waves well beyond the District for their polished electro-pop sensibilities. Signed to boutique New York label Photo Finish--home to acts like Marian Hill and MisterWives--SHAED has headlined Billboard's Hot 100 Music Festival, Firefly Music Festival, South by Southwest and more major music events just in the last year alone. Before releasing their highly-anticipated debut album next year, they'll play a special hometown show to help us ring in another year.
Nag Champa DC
Bringing their inventive live show to the party are D.C. music shamans Nag Champa, who offer a spiritual, existential music experience that intertwines future R&B, free jazz, hip hop and house music. They've play all over town at established venues like 9:30 Club, the Kennedy Center and the Smithsonian, pairing their exploratory sounds with bold and imaginative visual art.
Fielder (formerly known as Dawkins)
The five-piece group--originally from Bethesda, MD--makes colorful, avant-garde pop that's exemplified on their impressive debut record, EP1. For a young band that's stretched across various cities around the country, the release is a fully-realized effort that feels purposeful and mature beyond their years--also praised in national outlets like Bandcamp and The Washington Post.
OG Lullabies [EP Release!]
OG Lullabies is a multi-instrumentalist native to Washington, DC. A virtuoso violinist, composer, producer and singer-songwriter, she merges her multi-talents into a one-woman show; an eclectic fusion and force of self expressive sounds transformed through technically mastery and fearless musical experimentation.
