We invite you to join us for a screening of the short film «Gaza in Context.» Director Noura Erakat, a human rights attorney and activist, will lead a discussion following the showing.

Ms. Erakat is an assistant professor at George Mason University, and the founder of Jadaliyya, an electronic magazine on the Middle East. Her film «Gaza in Context» is an effort to improve understanding of the history of Gaza as it relates to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. It has received widespread praise from many scholars and analysts for its insightful and careful analysis of the region.
