In her forthcoming book Renoir: An Intimate Biography, Barbara Ehrlich White discusses the artist’s life using more than 1,100 extracts from letters—452 of which are unpublished. White’s book comes from a lifetime of research and challenges common misconceptions surrounding Renoir’s reputation. A book signing will follow the discussion.
