Heurich House Museum
1307 New Hampshire Ave NW, Washington, District of Columbia 20036
Each autumn, we transform German-American brewmaster Christian Heurich's backyard into an Oktoberfest biergarten. This year the celebration is our truest reflection yet of the real thing. After entering the garden through our original iron gates, guests will sit on traditional Oktoberfest tables under decorated tents and will be serendaded by celebratory music. Servers will bring them a selection of carefully chosen beers from Germany and DC, including Heurich's Lager and the best of DC beer's Oktoberfest-inspired kegs. A la carte food choices will include traditionally made soft pretzels and bratwurst with sauerkraut.
Gates will be open from 12 to 8pm on Saturday, September 30 and Sunday, October 1.
This is not a ticketed event, and is first come, first served. Must be 21 or older to enter.
