Not even a week into his presidency, Donald Trump began making good on his campaign promise of «a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States» by instituting his Muslim Ban, starting with seven Muslim-majority countries. After the executive order was successfully challenged in courts across the country, the administration came out with revision after revision of the Ban—yet despite any cosmetic changes, the bigoted and racist intent behind it remains.
On October 18th, the latest iteration of the Ban goes into effect. This is an important moment for us to organize a strong, loud, mass mobilization that sends a clear message to this Administration: Muslim communities are organized, and our allies have our back. We will not be silent and we will stand up for our communities in the face of any and all discriminatory policies.
We will continue to resist this immoral and unconstitutional Muslim Ban and any new bans in all forms, in all venues, and in all ways—no matter how long it may take to achieve justice.
If you stand with Muslim communities, immigrants, and those who seek refuge—from the impacted countries and beyond—join us as we proclaim: #NoMuslimBanEver
