How far will bats go for food? Edward Hurme, a National Geographic Young Explorer is researching the movement ecology of bats using miniature GPS trackers. His work focuses on the rare Mexican fishing bat and his 'office' is the beautiful Sea of Cortez coastline.
If time allows, we'll step outside and try to locate some of our local bat species. Complementary hot and cold refreshments, as well as beer and wine. Ages 14 and up. All must register.
