Sweet summer corn is everything and the focus of the August 28th Spirit of Cooking at District Distilling. Chef Justin Bittner will demonstrate an array of techniques and dishes to use the summer corn harvest in several different ways.
Attendees will learn about various uses for corn and why it's such an important part of our food culture, followed by a full dinner of all dishes demonstrated and additional courses.
Head distiller Matt Strickland will share tastings of District Distilling Co.'s blended bourbon and C & O Tradesman whiskies, while sharing background on the distilling process and whiskey-based cocktails.
