Jasmine’s Tea Party is a queer-focused performing art show and dance party. The idea behind the event is to give a space for people to express themselves creatively in a way they may not otherwise have an opportunity. We welcome everyone to express their interest in participation, whether you’re a professional performer or have never gotten on a stage before, this is your space to play, dance, sing, speak and experiment. If you’re a professional, we’d like to encourage you to use this space to do something you may not ordinarily be inclined to do. For inquiries, please contact The Barber Streisand.
As a community event, it is our preference not to charge a door cover, although, we will be requesting a $5 donation at the door to go towards expenses. We also ask that you open your bar tabs upstairs.
5:00pm-6:00pm — The Banquet Hour — Come early and enjoy a dim-sum dinner upstairs. Relax. Chat. Enjoy some tea, compliments of Ten Tigers Parlour.
There will be two shows. The first show beginning somewhere in the vicinity of 7:30. The second after an intermission.
Dancing throughout, music by Jacq Jill and The Barber Streisand.
Looks and creative expression are highly encouraged.
