The Bike Rack
716 Monroe Street Northeast, Washington, District of Columbia 20017
Join us for our two-shop monthly Campfire Grind ride! We've had some great people and adventure on past rides. Bring your bike, we'll bring the s'mores!
This mid-paced, social gravel ride will head out from our Brookland shop (716 Monroe NE), pick up folks at our Q St shop (1412 Q St NW), and head to the Capital Crescent trail entrance in Georgetown.
Meet us at any of those three spots and join us this weekend for a 25-30 mile round-trip gravel ride. It is a decently long ride round trip, so please take into consideration your own limits. If you have not biked this distance before, please consider joining one of our other, in-town social rides first.
We’ll midpoint at the Marsden Tract this month with a campfire (we'll bring the s'mores; BYO grill-ables) and get you back to DC by 11:30 p.m. We absolutely encourage you to camp out for a fun overnight with your fellow cyclists and a beautiful Sunday morning ride back into town.
Due to a large increase in numbers in the past several months of this ride, we are asking that everyone RSVP for this ride with a nominal $5 donation. The fee will go directly to the campsite booking, supply and food purchases for the group. Please indicate if you plan to ride back the same evening or camp out until morning with your ticket purchase.
We'll see you at the campfire!
