Christopher K. Morgan & Artists presents an evening of mixed repertory featuring two world premieres and audience favorite, Rice. “Charming and poignant” (The New York Times), Morgan’s 2005 solo «Rice» takes a child’s look at race. Assistant Director Tiffanie Carson presents «B.U.G. – [Backlight. Uplight. Glare.],» a play on the technical lighting term and meditation on the symbolic resonance of light and dark. «Into the Gloaming» closes the evening, a premiere ensemble work by Morgan addressing the nature of grief and loss with original score by electric cellist Wytold.
