Known for his wild hair and even more impressive reggae influenced tracks, such as Wine Dem and FEAR, Henry Fong has quickly made a name for himself. His ability to perfectly blend his signature reggae/dancehall sound with the energetic mainstage sound has commanded the attention of major artists such as Hardwell, Skrillex, and Calvin Harris, putting out records on both OWSLA and Fly Eye. One of the best rising DJ’s in the industry, touring all over the world while still maintaining his laidback Florida vibe, Henry Fong’s energy and style know how to bring people in and keep them dancing all night long.
Bad Royale is definitely one of the more interesting groups in electronic music. What makes them interesting? Well, somehow three trance producers (Maor Levi, Kevin Wild, and Bruce Karlsson) and their non-musically inclined roommate, Elias Ghosn, became a trap producing super group. What started out as a joke quickly became something legitimate as the group was signed to Mad Decent and then put out their first EP,“Move Like”, in 2015. They have since gone on multiple world tours and played countless festivals, but the best part about Bad Royale is they have created and dominated their own sound: Caribbean bass. Taking Major Lazer’s moombahton style and mixing it with the great Caribbean artist Bunji Garlin’s style, Bad Royale was able to create a sound that borders on the line of Caribbean music and electronic music. This fusion and their high energy performances have propelled Bad Royale to being one of the most in-demand artists.
